* Don McAlpine

Don McAlpine has been coaching baseball fundamentals for over 15 years. His expertise in the game includes pitching, hitting and defensive skills.

As a coach, Don has achieved numerous accomplishments which include coaching a 10 year old All Star team to the Pony World Series, placing third in the tournament and first on the skills competition, a 12 year old team to a thirteenth place finish in the Super Series World Series tournament and a third place finish with a 14 year old team in the CABA World Series. His players have been recognized in high school as District Pitcher of the Year (5 players), District First Team (4 players) and District MVP. Eight of his 11 players went on to start on their Varsity teams in their sophomore year of high school. One of his players received recognition this past season with placement on the Louisville Slugger Freshman All American team. Six of his players have left high school and are currently playing college ball. For the past four years, he has worked with players at Birdville High School, focusing on pitching and hitting. BHS has placed first in their district three of the past four years and was in the state final tournament in 2008.

He is now branching out into individual instruction and will focus students on three key aspects of the game…
